Trucking Company Georgia, including Georgia Shipping and Trucking Services

Services

Collins Industries recognizes that our customers have specific transportation needs. In an effort to provide seamless, service-sensitive, headache-free solutions, Collins Industries offers a diverse selection of trailer configurations. Our growing fleet of experienced drivers is always on alert to give you the excellent performance that our customers have come to expect. The professionals at Collins Industries are dedicated to turning your transportation problems into solutions.

Regional Services

Collins Industries operates 80 plus power units and flatbeds throughout the Southeast and Midwest. Our units are not only specked for maximum comfort, but allow us to haul a minimum of 48,000 pounds of cargo. We place the headboard on the tractor to allow for the shipment of long material that may need to hang off the front or rear of the trailer. Collins Industries also has Qualcomm communications installed on all company equipment, which allows us to communicate and track a load from the origin to the destination. Our flatbed trailers are air ride, combination aluminum and steel, with spread axles. For the flatbed guru, this means maximum load potential, with the ease of axling the trailer weight, and a smoothers ride. Several customers are utilizing our equipment at their location for a drop and hook scenario.

For the drivers of the regional haul, not only do we use late model (average of 2.5 years old) equipment, we get every driver home every weekend. We understand the importance of family and realize we are not just working with a driver, but someone who has a family. Your safety and your income are top priorities for Collins Industries.

Local Services

Local deliveries and short hauls are not a problem for Collins Industries. We maintain a fleet of drivers who specialize in moving local freight. Our customers take advantage of our ability to pick up and deliver cargo with a short time lead. If you have one load or multiple shipments from point A to point B, give our dispatch office a call.

Brokerage

The brokerage department was started to help with the odd shipments, irregular routing, and seasonal overflow of freight movements with our customer base. It has grown to become a full time position for a dispatcher. We have created strategic alliances with carriers throughout the southeast. These carriers have met all of our quality standards as well as state and federal requirements. Collins Freight Brokers also carries contingent auto liability and contingent cargo insurance.

Dispatch

The dispatch office is open from 7 am till 5 pm Monday thru Friday. Andy Collins, along with two other dispatchers coordinate and route over 80 tractors daily. For rates or more information, contact Andy Collins at 770-775-3333.
